Our group executed the first two steps within the first 10 minutes. We knew that we had limited resources and time, and therefore, had to plan accordingly. The scissors was a scarce material, so we did not want to rely too heavily on it. We came up with alternative methods of creating a casing for our egg. Ripping up the pieces of tape was just as effective as cutting and we were not limited to any time constraints without the scissors. This was indeed a good idea since we hardly saw the scissors circulate in the little time we had. Everyone had 'jobs' to carry out once we were able to assemble our contraption. This made everything run smoothly and efficiently.
By dividing up our time, assignments, materials and having a just in case plan, our group worked well together. Problems we had anticipated were easily overcome. All of the steps were implemented and I think we did well. Our plan did work and our egg was sage. I do not think there were any points we overlooked that could have helped our effectiveness.

Playing Unfair.
I have been at my internship for quite a few months now and work alongside another intern from NYU. We were both hired for essentially the same positions requiring similar responsibilities, but with his a little more IT and mine a bit more administrative. I have noticed that my boss expects me to do tasks that I am sure he wouldn't expect the other intern to do because he is a male, such as making his coffee for him (yes, I had to do that). I wouldn't mind as much if we BOTH have been asked to do it. This is not the case, however. Also, if the phone rings (and rings, and rings) it has fallen upon my responsibility to answer it. Even IT related tasks have fallen on my shoulders. When I tell my boss directly that the other intern is a much better candidate for the job, somehow, it ends up on my plate. This leads me to wonder whether I am held accountable because a). I am a female or b). I am just more capable. Clearly, the first assumption is not fair but neither is the second, without fair compensation or plain acknowledgement.

Intro
Hi! Well, my name is Stephanie and this is my last semester at Baruch. I called this my Krazi Korner because I like to go out and have fun, and according to my friends, act a little crazy.
Here's a bit about myself. I live in Queens. I am currently interning at a small wealth management firm in Midtown as well as UBS. Hmm...I also love to travel and try different things. I'm pretty easy going and adaptable. Anything else, ask about me!
